On Saturday, after weeks of waiting, our tickets for Equus were finally valid!Why so excited? Well, the show by English playwright Peter Shaffer starred Daniel Radcliff - the (now legal) Harry Potter - in the flesh! It was enough to make three women very, very excited!
Before heading to the show, we decided to meet early for dinner. Our initial restaurant choice fell through, so we ended up at St. Andrews - a Scottish steak and seafood house. The servers were dressed in kilts and those that served us had thick Scottish brogues.
Although many of the menu options sounded tempting (except the hagis as it was described to me), I watched a tray of onion rings float by and decided on the large crab cake with onion rings! Both were very satisfying.
We all craved a little sweetness to end our meal and I was looking forward to giving the apple cobbler a try. Sadly, our server forgot about us and we ran out of time for dessert.
