The Muppets Come Home

Yesterday, I visited the Muppets at their new condo on Manhattan's east side.

Upon ringing the bell, the door swung open and there stood Mr. and Mrs. Muppet, greeting me with huge smiles on their faces and I knew instantaneously - the Muppets have finally come home.

After four years, three apartments and two cities, they've found a space that they could make their own. And, they did. After months of trekking the city and scouring the web for the perfect tiles, faucets, applicances, cabinetry and more, they have created a home that perfectly represents their lives and their style.

It is a modern, relaxed and social place that I'm sure they will call home for some time to come.

To celebrate their new home, they gathered a group of friends and let the Prosecco flow.

Prosecco, the Italian champagne, is a sweet, bubbly drink that is best served chilled. It is a sparkling wine made from a late-ripening white grape of the same name that is grown in the Veneto region of Italy. It was originally used to make Harry's Bellini and can be used in a variety of mixed drinks in replacement of champagne.

Our sophisticated bartender, Mr. Muppet, served flutes of Prosecco with a spalsh of elderflower. It was a yummy, aromatic afternoon treat. We ching-ching'd our new homeowners before drinking, nibbling and chatting the afternoon away.

Is there any better way to pass a Saturday?

Congrats again, Muppets!
