My favourite season is upon us. Although it has been a bit cooler than usual, I love the crisp air that the season brings. As we bid adieu to summer, a group of us headed northwest to the Poconos for some good ol' R&R
The Muppets rented a quaint cottage in the woods. The cottage offered all you'd expect in the middle of Pennsylvania - a working fireplace, faux taxidermy (at least that was our hope), fresh mountain air, and deer (alive and well; not like the ones I usually see on the side of the NJ highways).
We did a lot of eating, but perhaps my fav regional snack was the pumpkin butter Mrs. Muppet found at a local market. Thick like peanut butter, the spread was sweet, spiced and all around satisfying.
